Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA Australia)
Blackboard Creative is in partnership with Ram Training Services RTO #31701. Ram Training Services is the training provider of course SITHFAB201 Provide Responsible Service of Alcohol.
By law, anyone involved in the service and supply of alcoholic beverages must obtain a current OLGR approved Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate.
This includes but not limited to waitresses, bar staff, security staff, and venue managers. If you are a new employee, it is important you complete the RSA course within 30 days of commencement at your new job.
RAM Training Services runs the course which takes 4 hours to complete Face to face. The course is run on a monthly bases out of Southport on the Gold Coast, Brisbane & the Sunshine Coast. This course can also be run at your premises for group bookings, anywhere in Queensland.
The RSA course is run over 4 hours in 1 day, on a monthly basis, out of both the Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast and Brisbane. If you wish for our trainer to come to your venue and train your staff this can be arranged for your convenience.
According to Queensland Legislation, anyone working in a licensed venue is required to complete this course,.
To gain a job within the hospitality, you should have an RSA Australia to ensure the establishment is protected with liquor laws.
There are no pre-requisites, however it is recommended that you will have a grade 10, or equivalent, level of English reading and writing.
